Vegan boiled dumplings using breadfruit flour. Breadfruit flour is gluten-free. It is rich in vitamins and minerals, as well as being a high source of gluten-free carbohydrate and protein. The protein in the fruit has a higher proportion of amino acids than soy.
1 1/2 cups breadfruit flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix flour and salt together in a container.
Add water; a little at a time. Knead until dough is made.
Wrap dough with plastic wrap for a couple of minutes (optional)
Put a large enough pot on medium-heat with salt, bring water to a boil.
Tear off pieces of dough and roll them between your palms. Use the heel of your palm to make a dent into the middle of each dough
Put the dumplings in the pot, stir to avoid them sticking together while cooking, cover and cook dumplings for 15 minutes.
Remove from water and serve hot with meat or vegetables
