Jamaican steamed fish recipe
Ingredients
2 cup Grace fish tea mix
1 medium size Irish potato (sliced)
2 medium size carrot
1 green scotch bonnet pepper (chopped)
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 small onion
1 stalks scallion
1 sprig thyme
2 lb. fish
1 peg garlic
margarine
Method
Clean fish, wash with vinegar. Rub salt in the cut on the fish
Add fish tea mix in a pot. Put pot on fire. Add all ingredients except fish and margarine to pot. Cover and allow to boil for ten minutes. Add fish and margarine, cover and simmer for ten more minutes. Add more salt if needed.
