Devilled Eggs Mustard Stuffing

Are you looking for the prefect food? One that, for example, contains only 80% calories, is 12% protein, rich in vitamins and minerals, and inexpensive? The egg is the prefect answer.

If you want to be sure that you’re eating good quality fresh eggs, only buy what you need for two weeks. Put them in the refrigerator as soon as you get home. An egg loses as much freshness in one hour sitting on the counter as it would in a day if kept cool.

A hint: buy medium-sized eggs as much as possible. They are less expensive and don’t make a bit of difference to the recipe.

Use week-old eggs for hard boiling. When eggs are too fresh, the shell is difficult to remove.


5 eggs

mustard stuffing

4 tsp. mayonnaise

2 tsp. prepared mustard

1 tsp. onion, chopped

1 tsp. hot pepper, chopped (optional)



Place eggs in a small saucepan filled with cold water. Cook the eggs over high heat for 10 minutes


Mix together in a small container, the mayonnaise, mustard, onion, and hot pepper. Set aside


Slice  eggs in half and gently scoop out the yolks


Mix the yolks with the mustard stuffing. Using a pastry bag or a spoon , stuff the egg whites. Serve.
