Jamaican plum
I do not know the name of this plum but it grows rampantly in Jamaica. The season begins in May to late September. No, it is not the hog plums; hog plums are different. Hog plums should not be eaten by humans because of maggots’ infestation. (most Jamaicans called it ‘magic’ instead of maggot)
These plums are very sweet, and the ripe ones are juicy
