How to boil cerasee tea (Jamaican herbal bush tea)
Momordica charantia, commonly called ‘cerasee’ or ‘cercee’ in Jamaica. This tea is very bitter.Cerasee contains nutrients like iron, vitamins A and C, phosphorus and alkaloids. Cerasee is very efficacious in treating various aliments. I drink the tea three or four times per annum because of its detoxifying properties. it is very good at purifying the blood and body .Some people said it cures abdominal pain and arthritis, and reducing blood pressure. It is also used as skin cleanser, eg.,rashes, acne, eczema, and skin ulcers. It is very good at relieving constipation. Some people said it is good for fever and colds. Additionally, treating urinary tract infections, and relieving menstrual cramps.
People who live in Jamaica drink cerasee for the main purpose, of purifying the body and blood.(especially ganja smokers) The bush is used to rub the skin of people who suffered from eczema. Many people said, it does not work for skin eczema.
There are many herbal remedies, I do not use most of them, not all really helps. I only talk about the ones that are safe to use and helps somewhat. This video about the usage of cerasee is based exclusively about people who currently live in Jamaica. Do not drink cerasee tea with prescribed medication. Many people rely on herbal remedies for minor ailments. But even medications derived from plants can have risks and side effects. The proper dosage can help keep you safe.
