How to roast a turkey
For many people, there’s nothing more festive than a steaming turkey. Stuff with basic turkey stuffing, then roast it. Thanks to Sandals Jamaica for this recipe. The picture shown above is not the actual product. Click here and learn how to blend herbs and spices.
Ingredients
1 turkey (10 to 12 lbs.) (4,5 to 5,4 kg)
6 bacon slices
3 onion sliced
6 slices solid pork fat
Salt and pepper
2 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. fines herbs

Method
- Preheat oven to 325F or 160C
- Stuff turkey with stuffing
- Line a roasting pan with aluminium foil and pork fat slices, then put in the turkey.
- Place sliced onions and bacon slices on top of turkey. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with 1 tbsp. fines herbs and paprika.
- Cook in oven for 30 minutes per pound (per 450g) Make 10 to 12 servings
