2 pounds sorrel

Piece of  ginger (crushed)

2 teaspoon grated ginger

2 cups granulated sugar

10 cups boiling water

Wash sorrel properly, place in container. Add crushed ginger, pour boiling water over sorrel and add grated ginger cover container and let stand for overnight best two day, better when fermented. Sweetened and strain, bottle and refrigerate for up to a year.
