Make your own salt substitute, You may help cut down on your salt (sodium) intake by using a salt substitute. To make your own salt substitute, mix the following ingredients together and put them in a shaker:

0.5 tsp. (2.5 g) cayenne pepper
    0.5 tsp. (2.5 g) garlic powder
    1 tsp. (5 g) each:
        Basil
        Onion powder
        Black pepper
        Parsley
        Mace
        Sage
        Marjoram
        Savoury
        Thyme
