Refreshing tamarind juice drink, ideal for hot sunny days.
I changed the name of my blog to “Angie Can Cook”
1 cups shelled tamarind
1 1/2 cups boiling water
Granulated sugar to taste
Bring water to boil in a kettle on high heat
Place tamarind into a glass container
Pour boiling water over the tamarind
Cover and allow to stand for at least four hours (best overnight)
Strain tamarind juice through a strainer
Dilute with 1 more cup of water (optional)
Sweeten to taste
Refrigerate for up to a month.
