Jamaican curry lobster recipe

Here is a recipe for Jamaican curry lobster tail

Ingredients:

2 lbs. lobster tails, uncooked and cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small Scotch bonnet pepper, seeds removed and finely chopped
1 tablespoon Jamaican curry powder
1 teaspoon pimento (allspice)
1 teaspoon ground thyme
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
Instructions:


Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and Scotch bonnet pepper and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the curry powder, allspice, thyme, black pepper, and salt to the saucepan and cook for 1 minute more.
Add the lobster,  and water to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the lobster is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
