Lemon pepper fried chicken wings
Lemon pepper fried chicken is a dish made by coating chicken pieces in a mixture of lemon pepper seasoning and flour, and then deep-frying until crispy and golden brown.
Ingredients:
2 lbs. chicken wings
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp. Badia complete seasoning
1 tsp. all purpose seasoning
Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions:
Wash wings in vinegar and water solution, drain, pat dry. Season wings with salt and all the spices.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and paprika, complete seasoning, all purpose seasoning.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully add the chicken wings to the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the wings from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Serve the wings hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
You can adjust the amount of lemon pepper seasoning to your taste. Some people prefer more or less lemon flavor.
You can also bake the wings in the oven at 425F for 20-25 minutes if you prefer not to fry them.
