Tragic Weekend in Clarendon: 2 Road Fatalities Reported

Elderly Man Fatally Shot by Licensed Firearm Holder in St. Ann

Crime

So, there was some crazy stuff that went down in St. Ann's Bay the other night. Apparently, there was a group of people waiting to use an ATM when this 72-year-old dude, Vincent Phillips, came up and started demanding to use the machine first. Like, what was his rush? Anyways, he ended up hitting some of the other people in line with his bag, which is definitely not cool.

But here's where things get even crazier - one of the people in line was actually a licensed firearm holder, and he got into an altercation with Mr. Phillips. It sounds like Mr. Phillips may have even assaulted the guy with the gun. And that's when the firearm holder decided to use his weapon and shoot Mr. Phillips.

The whole thing is pretty messed up, and it's sad to hear that Mr. Phillips died from his injuries at the hospital. The police did seize the firearm, so hopefully, they'll be able to figure out exactly what happened
