Three people, including two women, were accidentally shot and wounded at the National Commercial Bank (NCB) branch in Portmore on Thursday morning. The victims have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Around 10 o'clock, a security team from Beryllium was at the bank to load Automated Banking Machines when, unfortunately, one of the guards' guns accidentally went off. The bullets hit three customers standing in front of the bank, causing injuries to their legs.
The police have blocked off the area for investigation, but the bank is still open for business. Customers are being directed to use a different entrance. The injured individuals are currently receiving medical care at the hospital
