Jamaican Woman Fatally wounded by husband in Canada

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a tragic incident has shaken the community. 64 year-old Estella Wheeler, a beloved teacher who dedicated her life to shaping young minds in Toronto, was fatally wounded by her husband, Trevor Wheeler 68

The devastating incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when authorities responded to a distress call at their home. Despite the efforts of first responders, Estella succumbed to her injuries.

The couple, who had immigrated to Canada from Jamaica many years ago, leaves behind two grown children. Estella's untimely passing serves as a stark reminder of the profound impact of domestic violence within our society.

As we mourn the loss of a cherished member of our community, we must also reflect on the importance of supporting those affected by domestic violence and advocating for its prevention. Let us honor Estella's memory by fostering environments of safety, compassion, and support for all.
