UK national commits suicide at Negril police station
This incident highlights a tragic situation where a woman, identified as a UK national, took her own life at the Negril Police Station in Westmoreland. Reports indicate that she had shown suicidal tendencies earlier in the day and had attempted to jump from the property where she was staying. Due to these concerns, she was brought to the police station for her safety. However, after requesting to use the restroom and not coming out for a while, officers found her deceased, having apparently used her bathroom robe's belt to hang herself.
