Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream (or evaporated milk if you prefer it lighter)
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup Jamaican dark rum (like Appleton Estate or Wray & Nephew)
- 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
- 2 tsp instant coffee granules (dissolved in 1 tbsp hot water)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg (optional, for extra spice)
Instructions:
- In a blender, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and chocolate syrup.
- Add the dissolved coffee, vanilla extract, and ground nutmeg. Blend until smooth.
- Slowly pour in the rum while the blender is running to ensure it incorporates evenly.
- Taste and adjust for sweetness or strength (add more rum or condensed milk to your preference).
- Pour into a sterilized bottle, seal, and refrigerate. It keeps for about 2-3 weeks. Shake well before serving.
