Mandazi, also known as Swahili coconut doughnuts, is a favorite treat across East Africa. With its slightly sweet flavor and soft texture, it’s the perfect snack to pair with a hot cup of chai or coffee. Here’s a foolproof recipe to make delicious mandazi at home!
Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

A pinch of salt

1/2 cup coconut milk (or regular milk)

1 egg

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Oil for frying

Instructions:
